Arrival

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by one of the Kidogo Adventure Team and the adventure begins! 

You will be taken to our house, where you will be based for the duration of your stay. The house is in a secure residential compound in the west of Nairobi. It is comfortable and a place for you to relax and socialise with the other guests. You will have breakfast and dinner here prepared by our cook and lunch is provided on the projects.

On your first morning there will be an orientation to discuss your adventure schedule before you start the projects. If at any point you wish to change your schedule or incorporate other projects / activities, we can discuss it and we will try our very best to accommodate you. 

The Projects 

Each day you will be taken to the projects by the Kidogo Adventure driver. On most days you will have lunch there. The afternoons are either spent at the projects or doing other activities.

Activities 

We know that you will also be keen to explore some of what Kenya has to offer. In order to maximise the time you have with us, we try and keep the programme varied and interesting, interspersing activities with volunteering. There will be a number of activities arranged throughout your stay; including shopping at the Maasai markets, visiting the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, feeding the giraffes and other attractions.

If there is anything that you particularly wish to see or do, please let us know before your trip and we will try to arrange it. You are welcome to do things independently too - but let us know in advance and please note that the costs of this will have to be covered by you. 

Safari 

If your adventure is for two weeks or longer, there will be weekend safaris included. This will give you the opportunity to see more of Kenya and hopefully a lot of wildlife too!
